Community Involvement
Our first and most valuable resource is our parents. We enjoy a very supportive and productive partnership which enhances the benefits for our students.
During our first year we established the ‘Friends of Rhosnesni High School Association’. Teachers work along side parents and friends of the school to raise money, enjoy social events and to put on ‘education evenings’ to bring the school and community closer together. For just £1 a month you could belong to our ‘100 club’ and help raise funds as well as have a chance of winning a cash prize. Contact Christine Colclough C/O Rhosnesni High School for details.
Close Liaison with our neighbours, local residents’ association and community councils is very important to us. We communicate regularly and work towards a very positive image and contribution to our local community.
The following local support agencies work in conjunction with school on projects on an individual basis for the benefit of students. Caia Park Partnership, the Venture, Communities First, Youth Service, Police Liaison, Community Beat Managers, Youth Inclusion Program and Yale College.
Each year the school supports local and national charities. Nightingale House Hospice, Hope House Hospice, Wrexham Branch of NSPCC, Children in Need and Comic Relief.
The School has links with Yale College and Adult courses take place here. You can study a number of topics like French, Spanish, golf, card making and many more! To find out more go to this page. Click HereClick Here.
