Year 7 – 9 National Numeracy Testing

Over the next few weeks leading up to the Numeracy tests, pupils time in Maths lessons will be spent completing the Numeracy Ninjas Programme and practising past Numeracy papers in order to best prepare them for the National Tests.

Homework tasks will also be about preparing pupils for these tests and your support with encouraging pupils to complete these to the best of their ability is much appreciated.

Please find links here to additional sample materials to further support your child at home.

If you would like any further resources or discuss how else you can prepare your child please do not hesitate to contact Mrs E Topliss or Mrs A Ashley

End of Term Message from Miss Brown, Deputy Headteacher

We have had a lovely KS3 Easter Assembly today where our students received Awards for Sporting achievement, Attendance, School Competitions, Accelerated Reader and E-praise Awards. We were also treated to a very professional music performance from 4 of our students.

Reverend Sarah Errington, Vicar at St John’s Church led our assembly with a presentation on Syrian Refugees which is our chosen charity for todays dress down day. Rev Errington finished her presentation with a very fitting prayer.

We have held cake sales held at break and lunchtime today and a staff versus students netball match at lunchtime.

Thank you to everyone for their support, we look forward to letting you know how much our students have raised after half term.

We would like to wish our student and their families a lovely Easter break and look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday 10th April in full uniform.
